The prices are affordable and reasonable, making it a perfect option for budget-conscious travelers. The attention to detail is impressive, with recent renovations and fresh paint giving the hotel a refreshed look. The location is also fantastic, right in the center of Funchal, making it convenient for those who enjoy the hustle and bustle of town life. The staff are friendly and helpful, making sure your stay is enjoyable. The basic amenities, such as rooms with private bathrooms, are kept spotlessly clean. I especially loved the rooms on the first floor with a small terrace, allowing you to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings.
Everything was just fine.

The hotel is very close to the center and easy to find so you don't need to pay to any public transportation while going to the main places in the city. While I read all the positive reviews before staying there, I thought that there was a hidden catch. However, it Really is a lovely place to stay.

Hotel with friendly staff and located at a quiet, slightly busy street and a park. The Airportbus and other stops almost outside and 5 minutes walk from "the Old Town" and centrum. Free Internet access throughout the hotel...

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect as it was close to everything I needed. I also liked how clean the room was.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

I stayed there just for one night, so I cannot comment much. All I can say is that it is good value for money, hotel staff was nice and breakfast was decent. The hotel is also on a good location, in the city center.
Room cleanliness. There was a lot of someones hair on the bed covers.

The hotel was good value and situated close to the old city. The room had something similiar to a balcony. The owner of the hotel and the elder man who worked there in the night were nice people.
The furniture isn't what you would call "new" but -- like written before -- it was a good value considered the low price.

my recent stay in funchal was amazing, and residencial parque exceeded my expectations. the location was perfect, within walking distance of the harbor and mercado dos lavradores. the staff was friendly and english-speaking, and the wifi signal was great. i especially loved the nice balcony in my room and the top floor with chairs and tables to enjoy the view.
Breakfast options were limited.

the hotel was clean and comfortable, with friendly staff that made us feel right at home. Our room had a nice balcony with a view of the park. We enjoyed the continental breakfast of fresh rolls, cheese, and jam that was included. the hotel also had a well-stocked bar at reasonable prices that was perfect for an evening drink.
The hotel was not luxurious and lacked some amenities like shampoo.

1) Great location near downtown Funchal (within walking distance -maybe 5mins). 2) Good value for money.
1) Breakfast is included in room rate but it is very poor, only a bun of bread, butter, jam and milk or coffee. 2) Lack of heating and/or airconditioning in the rooms can cause problems at chilling nights.

Perfect location, near airport bus and central Funchal. Clean room with a terrace overlooking the mountains. Friendly and helpful staff, providing all necessary information. Basic but satisfactory breakfast. Laundry service available on request. Allowed to use shower after check-out. Manager at reception was very nice. Room had a closed balcony overlooking a park.
Nothing, it is perfect.

very good location in downtown Funchal, bus stops nearby, so easy to get from the airport( Aerobus or bus no 113, ask for Campo Da Barca, near Anadia shopping centre), short walk to the ocean and to the cable car station; very friendly and helpful staff, most of them speak English
breakfast the same every day, no choice at all, only a bread roll, portion of butter, jam and cheese,tea/coffee and some orange juice

The hotel was good value and situated close to the old city. The room had something similiar to a balcony where you could sit down to smoke. The owner of the hotel and the elder man who worked there in the night were nice people.
